The 2016 MSPF Street Photography call for entries is now OPEN
Deadline October 1st, 2016
MSPF gives photographers from all over the world the opportunity to be exhibited at a major gallery for a period of two months and significant exposure and recognition of their work during Art Basel Miami, one of the most important art events in the world.
Each year MSPF showcases the best contemporary street photography in the world selected by the most qualified jury panel in street photography today in a two tier system.
In the first round of the competition, all submissions will be judged in a blind juried process by a panel of internationally accomplished street photographers, all active members of street photography collectives, who will be selecting up to one hundred images as this year's MSPF Finalists. All selected finalists will be exhibited at HistoryMiami Museum, a Smithsonian Affiliate, in downtown Miami for two months and will be the highlight of the Miami Street Photography Festival which is held during Art Basel Week, December 1st to 4th, 2016. Art Basel Miami is one of the world's premier art events attracting a large international audience of art spectators, collectors, curators and gallery owners.
In the second round of voting the featured 2016 MSPF invited speakers, all world-renowned photographers, will select the top three winners from among all MSPF finalists who will receive the 2016 MSPF Awards.
